WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
We started a little over 5 years ago in an old RV outside of pinewood coffee bar, selling 1 or 2 briskets a day for the first year. After being named one of the best 25 new bbq joints in Texas by Texas Monthly Magazine in 2019, we moved into a brick & mortar in Speegleville, where we fixed up a warehouse building into a roadside bbq joint. We faced a lot of challenges in our first year, and prayed our butts off when the COVID-19 pandemic hit while we were still a fledgling restaurant, and God provided: we grew exponentially throughout 2020-2021. Today, we employ a staff of 30, are open 7 days a week, have expanded our catering operation significantly, and recently opened a food trailer downtown outside of Barnett's Whiskey House on Franklin Ave. 1 Peter 4:10 is at the heart of how we run our business: "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace."
